This CPD-accredited Essentials of CVD course is aimed at learners who are new to working with CVD patients and would like an overview of the disease, diagnosis, and management. Our CVD Essentials course is delivered via two 2 hour webinars led by a highly qualified clinician, and topics covered will include:

• What we mean when we talk about CVD
• Assessment and Diagnosis, including risk assessment
• Pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment pathways and how they contribute to a person centred care approach

  • Recognise conditions (co-morbidities) that contribute to CVD and the impact they have on CVD symptoms
