Spirometry Courses
Whether you wish to develop new skills, or refresh your existing knowledge and know how, we have something for everyone.
Spirometry is a lung function test that is a recognised investigation to support the diagnosis of respiratory conditions, such as asthma and COPD. It is also used as one of a suite of investigations for other respiratory conditions. Spirometry as a diagnostic tool is recognised by national and international guidelines, such as BTS/NICE/SIGN (2024), GINA (2025) and the GOLD 2025 global strategy.
The Association for Respiratory Technology and Physiology (ARTP) emphasise the importance of quality assured spirometry for performing and reporting spirometry. As a recognised training provider, Education for Health ensures the quality of their spirometry portfolio meets the standards set out in the ARTP Spirometry Standards Document .
Our range of online learning courses are designed for healthcare professionals who are responsible for performing, recording, and reporting spirometry in adults, or paediatric patients, or a combination of these. The courses are designed to give you the knowledge and skills to assess your patients with confidence and competence.
