In addition, it equips the learner with a broader understanding of the multi-systems approach to disease management and strategic service development. This course explores the pathophysiology, diagnosis and management of heart failure. It focuses on both pharmacological and non-pharmacological management of heart failure and how this may be impacted by co-morbid conditions.

The module will critically review the current approaches, research and treatments in relation to the different types of dementia, the disease trajectory including end of life care.
