The complex nature of respiratory failure and management will be explored using selected clinical scenarios which include end of life and symptom control. It focuses on non-invasive supportive interventions and explains treatments such as Oxygen, Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) and Non-invasive ventilation (NIV).
The design is geared specifically to equip clinicians with the knowledge and know how to care for patients requiring non-invasive support. In addition, it provides practical skills for patients to look after themselves.
