NPRANG Conference 2017
31st October 2017
Education for Health’s Director of Education Julia Neal recently attended the NPRANG (National Paediatric Respiratory and Allergy Nurses Group) Conference 2017 to present the poster competition awards sponsored by Education for Health.
NPRANG invited delegates to share any good practice, new services, and examples of patient engagement or research by submitting a poster presentation of their work. The abstracts for the poster presentations were judged by an NPRANG panel, including our Education Lead, Viv Marsh, and the three top places will be able to continue their education and training with an award from Education for Health.
Julia was very pleased to meet and congratulate the following winners of the poster competition and our congratulations go to:
First prize winner: Sally Hails ‘Improving Paediatric Asthma Care in the North East’
As first prize winner, Sally receives one place on any Education for Health academic module (Diploma, Degree or Masters Level).
Sally said: “I was recently awarded 1st prize in The National Paediatric Respiratory & Allergy Nurses poster competition. I was able to present my work on Improving Asthma Care in the North East at their national conference and was also awarded my prize – a fully funded Education for Health module of my choice. I am delighted to be given this opportunity and am looking forward to studying with Education for Health. I just need to choose which module I am going to do which will be a difficult decision!”
