Clinical Practice Advisory Group launches

The first meeting of the Clinical Practice Advisory Group (CPAG) took place on Thursday 23 September 2021.

CPAG is a new initiative, which brings together a group of professionals from the healthcare sector to discuss current issues and provide independent advice to Education for Health. It enables the Education for Health to ensure our portfolio offers the most relevant and suitable education, training and support for healthcare professionals. It also facilitates knowledge-sharing regarding emerging clinical issues and current best practice.

The group members include leading researchers in health and primary care, nurse practitioners and consultants.

Chaired by Dr Robert Angus, the first meeting focused on broadening Education for Health’s education and training to ensure it supported a wider collection of healthcare professionals. Specific topics discussed included:
