Learning Beyond Registration (LBR) provides the opportunity for post registration healthcare professionals to access a wide range of educational activity. The aim is to develop competent, capable practitioners appropriately prepared to deliver a dynamic, flexible, quality, client focused service.
In addition to two programmes covering specific areas of the country detailed below, Education for Health can also advise on funding possibilities and financial support from a number of sources; we encourage students to get in touch.
- Health Education East Midlands (HEEM):
HEEM contracts Education for Health for the provision of a wide range of professional healthcare education. Staff in primary and secondary care working in the East Midlands can receive 100% sponsorship to undertake degree modules and programmes.
Please note that the process for gaining funding has changed and only those named on a training needs analysis completed in early 2016 were able to access the funding.
We will update the website further as soon as we have details of access or application process that can be shared, in the meantime, please click here to download contacts for your local lead.
- Yorkshire and the Humber Strategic Health Authority:
Rotherham Respiratory works in partnership with NHS Yorkshire & Humber Strategic Health Authority in supplying fully funded validated training and education for Health Care Professionals working within the whole of Yorkshire and The Humber.
Study days are delivered throughout South and West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and Humberside.
