30 years, 30 stories: Dame Caroline Watkins

28th June 2017

Education for Health is celebrating 30 years of improving the lives of people with long term conditions. We are marking this important milestone by sharing the stories of 30 people involved in our success, today it is the turn of Dame Caroline Watkins of the UK Stroke Forum.

“Education for Health, and Monica Fletcher in particular, have played a key role in developing and implementing the UK Stroke Forum’s Stroke-Specific Education Framework (SSEF).  The SSEF is driving up the quality of stroke care through setting standards for education and training and ensuring that staff’s knowledge is appropriate for their role in the stroke care pathway.”
