Summer volunteering opportunity, to start July 2018
Minimum 20 hours per week, expenses only will be paid
Education for Health is a charity running education and training for healthcare professionals in long term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, COPD. We provide eLearning modules in these subjects and have a summer volunteering opportunity to support the updating and development of these modules.
This role would involve a variety of activities including uploading content into our online authoring tool, working on layout and formatting and, depending on the volunteer’s creative design skills, sourcing and/or creating suitable images. The volunteer would also be involved in checking, formatting and proofreading references and content, so good attention to detail is essential as well as strong written language skills.
This is a great opportunity to gain some eLearning design experience in an informal team within a small and friendly local organisation (about 40 in total). There may also be the chance to help out in other parts of the organisation.
If you are interested, please complete an application form and equal opportunities monitoring form. Please include a CV, and in the application form explain what you’d be hoping to get out of a placement with us and why you feel you would be suitable. If you have any difficulties completing an application form, please contact Gill Parks directly, as above.
