Chief Executive of Education for Health
Monica Fletcher is Chief Executive of Education for Health – an international medical education charity based in Warwick. Education for Health’s mission is to improve the quality of life of people living with long term conditions through the provision of high quality health professional education.
Monica is also past Chair of the European Lung Foundation, where she championed patient involvement in healthcare and research; and is actively involved in many National, European and Global activities through her committee membership of the World Health Organisation’s Global Alliance Against Respiratory Disease (GARD), the American Thoracic Society Nursing Assembly, the European Respiratory Society, the European COPD Coalition, and the International Primary Care Respiratory Group.
She is a Fellow of the Queen’s Nursing Institute (QNI), an Associate of the Center for Managing Chronic Disease, University of Michigan and is currently leading the development of a European Respiratory Nurses Association (ERNA).
