Respiratory Education UK (REUK) became part of the Education for Health Group in 2015.
REUK continues to exist as a registered national educational charity and continues to promote excellence in respiratory care for patients and professionals across both primary and secondary care settings.
Education for Health and REUK joined forces in January 2015 and since then we have been working together to integrate the activities of our two charities. We have already seen lots of benefits to our students, commissioners and the NHS of bringing our work together under one group.
After a review of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, modules and workshops we have decided to consolidate and centralise our administrative and academic functions and base them in the Education for Health Headquarters in Warwick.
Education for Health has been approved by the University of Hertfordshire as a partner and, from January 2016, will be offering the MSc in Respiratory Practice.
Originally developed and delivered by Respiratory Education UK, we will build on the programme and make it accessible to a greater number of healthcare professionals.
Levels 5 and 6
We no longer recruit onto University of Hertfordshire modules at Levels 5 or 6 or BSc pathways. Education for Health’s Levels 5 and 6 modules, accredited by The Open University, are open to all our students, and are available to be commissioned to be delivered across the UK.

REUK undergraduate courses FAQs
We pride ourselves on being able to provide commissioners with courses and programmes which are fit for purpose and which meet their needs and that of their service. Now that REUK and Education for Health are part of the same group we can offer a broader range of education and training to both our existing audiences and to those who are new to us.
