This course is designed for healthcare professionals who wish to develop their skills in Allergy. Allergy is considered the leading environmental disease affecting 1 in 3 people in the UK. It can affect several different organ systems including the skin, lungs, nose and gut and can result in anaphylaxis, yet there are very few health professionals who have received training in this area. The course teaches you how to recognise allergy in each organ system and design management strategies which will improve patient’s lives significantly. The course covers history taking skills and diagnosis, including skin prick testing, and equips you with the knowledge and training to provide an effective primary care led allergy service.
