This workshop is designed for healthcare professionals wanting to gain a basic understanding of paediatric asthma, particularly in a community setting. 1:20 consultations with a GP are children with asthma, and there are specific issues with asthma care in children, which adult trained nurses need to know. This course covers history taking, objective testing and practical solutions when these are not appropriate, and choosing an inhaler devices in the different age groups. This course will give you confidence to effectively manage children with asthma both at home and in a school or nursery setting.Delivery method: Interactive Study Day
