The following topics will be covered in this workshop: The definition of asthma, prevalence and impact on lives, diagnosis and management, British Thoracic Society/Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network - Guidelines on the management of asthma, concordance and compliance and treatment of an acute asthma attack.
