Homecare and the COPD Patient

This workshop was developed with the housebound COPD patient in mind. It recognises the role of the multidisciplinary community team in the care and support of patients with this long term condition. This workshop discusses the complex issues around oxygen therapy, management of co morbidities and end of life care in relation to this often neglected condition and group of patients. By the use of case studies and peer discussion this workshop will aim to raise and address issues that occur in this very specific situation, offering ideas and possible solutions particularly if delivered to whole teams in a local area.Delivery method: Interactive Study Day
