Evidence Based Healthcare

This module aims to educate health professionals in evidence-based healthcare in order to improve the care of patients. This module will equip students with the knowledge and skills to enable them to formulate research questions in response to areas of clinical uncertainty and to conduct a literature search to find appropriate research evidence. Sound knowledge, underpinned with essential practical skills equips them to use the principles of Evidence Based Healthcare to review and modify clinical practice and to evaluate the impact of these changes on patient care.
