This new interactive module is for anyone involved in the care of patients with COPD. Whilst raising awareness of the importance of correct diagnosis and management of this neglected condition through discussion, case studies and practical sessions, the module will also encourage critical analysis of the evidence that underpins both the guidelines and clinical decision making. The module and the study days that support it will enable the health care professional to support patients with COPD using an evidence based approach that will ensure care is both appropriate and applicable to the needs of both the patient and the carer.
