This brand new interactive course is designed for all health care professionals who care for patients with asthma in the primary or secondary care setting. Asthma is the commonest long-term condition affecting over 5 million people of all ages. Poor management can impact on quality of life, schooling, job prospects and result in life threatening consequences. This module will provide a solid knowledge base of asthma, and includes theoretical and practical solutions for dealing with specific issues which affect all age groups. It will allow you to confidently and effectively manage asthma across many settings and will positively impact on the quality of respiratory care in your area of practice.
