Training people to undertake CVD Risk Assessment; an evaluation from Education for Health

2048 learners completed the CVD Risk Assessment training which was funded by the Department of Health, with the majority of training being delivered locally to the learners. Evaluations were completed by 99% of the students, of which 85% agreed/strongly agreed that undertaking the learning had; improved their clinical skills, increased their confidence, and enabled them to implement change in their workplace.
“The poster presentation adds further emphasis to the important role of quality assured education supporting large health improvement programmes. In this instance implementation of Health Checks – a Government priority was implemented in a cost effective, timely and efficient maner" commented Ruth.
