
BSACI – focuses on allergic problems from rhinitis and drug allergies to anaphylaxis

The British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology ( BSACI) continues to be a major focus for clinicians and scientists in the UK and overseas. It supports health professionals providing high quality NHS based allergy service for those with allergic disease and other disorders of the immune system. The BSACI have published a number of Guidelines on their website with open access to assist health professionals in knowing how to manage specific allergic problems, from rhinitis and drug allergies to anaphylaxis.
One of the most common allergic conditions seen in Primary Care is Allergic Rhinitis. The BSACI have recently published an algorithm for managing rhinitis which takes you through all the different symptoms and treatment options. It’s really easy to use!
