This diploma level module is aimed at healthcare professionals in primary or secondary care, this module explores theoretical and practical solutions for the effective management of the specific issues affecting children and teenagers with asthma and related disorders.

This degree level module is aimed at any health care professional who wants to develop a leading role in the delivery and management of services for people with COPD and their families. This module aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to develop as autonomous practitioners in safe, effective and evidence-based practice in the field of COPD.

CVD Risk Assessment

This diploma level module provides professionals and healthcare support staff with the knowledge and understanding of CVD prevention required to implement the government's health checks' agenda, including risk assessment, risk management and individual patient support.

Diabetes as a Cardiovascular Disease

Diabetes as a Cardiovascular Disease at both diploma and degree level is aimed at health care professionals who participate in the assessment, delivery and management of care for people with or at risk of developing diabetes.  It provides the knowledge and skills needed to recognise individuals at risk, focusing on the prevention and management of risk factors associated with both metabolic syndrome and diabetes as a cardiovascular disease.

This ARTP / BTS endorsed diploma level module promotes the importance of accurate, reproducible spirometry in any healthcare setting, focusing on critical technique appraisal and achieving basic interpretation skills and the recognition of inaccurate or unacceptable results.

This Nurse Asthma Care Education (NACE) online program has been developed for US students, based on NHLBI EPR-3 guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Asthma and who want to improve the care and quality of life of asthma patients in practice and in the community.
