Taking action, educating people, transforming lives worldwide
We are an independent education and research charity for health professionals. Educational programmes are run nationally and internationally and are accredited by the Open University.
Special events & projects
Education for Health works in partnership with a wide variety of organisations including the NHS, pharmaceutical industry and medical equipment companies. Projects focus around our charitable mission to provide quality education which will improve the care of patients living with long term conditions.
Examples of partnerships in action
- Warwickshire PCT and the West Midland Public Health Network asked us to assist them in meeting their public health training needs. We developed an accredited training programme for multidisciplinary heath and social care workers called 'Improving Health', which gives students the necessary skills to enhance their preventative healthcare messages to both individuals and communities.
- REAL, a case study web-based learning tool for primary care nurses.
- The development of a range of new technologies to enhance our student experience and to open up educational opportunities to the wider healthcare community.
- Collaboration with the Pensions Agency to develop specific training in asthma for their assessors, for a better understanding of the disease area and patient needs.
If you would like to work with us on your special event or educational project, please call Sara Askew, Business Development Manager, on 01926 836840.
