Education for Health reaches out to work with people in a number of different ways. There are opportunities for people to become an employee, a trainer, a marker, or a volunteer with us:
Become an employee
We advertise all our vacant employment posts on this website. We hold Investors in People status and have achieved a National Training Award in 2004, confirming our reputation for delivering education and training of the highest quality.
Fill in your job application form and equal opportunities form and email us.
Become a trainer
If you are passionate about providing healthcare training why not join us by becoming a trainer. We look for practising clinicians who can deliver training and education throughout the UK and internationally.
In the UK we have a high-calibre team of over 80 trainers. All are practising clinicians from a variety of backgrounds, including nurse practitioners, general practitioners and AHPs, and are experts in the management of respiratory, cardiovascular disease and/or health improvement. If this is you too, then please contact Julia Neal on 01926 838973 or email us to find out more.
In Europe, currently we have a team of six Danish trainers and we are seeking to extend our reach to other European countries. If you are interested in working with us to develop training and education wherever you are in Europe please contact Samantha Walker on (0044) 1926 838962 or email us
In the USA we have 20 active trainers spread across various states, plus a wider pool of trainers which we draw upon. To join our team in the USA please contact Judith Taylor-Fishwick on (001) 757-483-4130 or visit our USA website at www.nrtc-usa.org
Become a marker
If you are a clinical expert with an interest in education, then your skills could be used to support the marking of 5000 student assessments per year. These would be for those who undertake an OU accredited course with us. You can become a marker without being a trainer.
For further details about becoming a marker please contact Jane Leyshon on 01926 836831 or email us
Become a volunteer
As a leading charity in Warwick, we welcome applications from those willing to join us as a volunteer and help make a difference to patients with long term conditions. In return you will be part of an organisation that genuinely cares for its people and which can provide rewarding and varied opportunities.
Call Gill Parks on 01926 836991 or email us to find out about volunteering opportunities we currently have and how easy it is to become one of our growing volunteer team.
