Charitable Activities

In its position as a charity, Education for Health is uniquely placed to share its knowledge and expertise in ways which a conventional commercial educational provider cannot. We strike a careful balance between our commercial activities and our charitable activities, to ensure we create a healthy funding stream for our increasingly ambitious charitable work.

The core of our charitable activity is the free sharing of our most valuable resource: our health education.  This free provision is undertaken by working with other charities, by promoting the importance of education and by developing our own initiatives such as Better Breathing Bangladesh

So, as a charity, our mission is to:

The quality of our health education resources and activity means that we are one of the most effective health education charities in the world:

  • Published research1 proves that training with us increases the effectiveness of health professionals
  • We are the only health professional education organisation to offer such measurable proof
  • Thousands of multi-disciplinary health professionals from across the world choose to study with us every year
  • Over 200 health service providers partner with us on a long-term basis
  • We have nearly 25 years' experience in developing and delivering interactive, participatory learning across several continents
  • There is an unrivalled breadth and depth to our specialist respiratory and cardiovascular portfolio.
