Education for Health Trainer Jacqui Cooper tells us how new eLearning courses surpassed her expectations
2 September 2010
Jacqui Cooper, a COPD Team Leader who manages a Cardiorespiratory Team within Principia, Nottingham (and Education for Health Trainer) tells us about her experience of our new eLearning courses:
“Initially when I heard that some of the diploma and degree level courses would be moving to eLearning I was a bit sceptical. I like to read things from a book or file and I don’t find it that easy to take in information from a computer screen. However, having tried the free taster sessions I’m very impressed and I’ve changed my mind! I was pleasantly surprised by the simplicity of use, the fact that you can still print pages off to read and it’s so interactive, which makes it much more interesting. Practical elements can actually be experienced as if in real life, for example consultations and spirometry. I think the eLearning particularly lends itself to the Spirometry course as there is such a practical element involved”.
