This year is truly special as the ERS will be celebrating its 20th anniversary. In addition to this special occasion, 2010 is the Year of the Lung. Special scientific and social events are being planned.

The ERS congress will deliver a programme with the right balance of clinical relevance and scientific quality. The sessions, which involve leading experts in respiratory medicine, but also in other areas, cover the entire spectrum of research and practice in respiratory medicine, from cell and molecular biology, through clinical diagnosis and management
